No.8 WiMax is designed to reach businesses within the Hamilton and Tauranga City Council boundaries that are not within reach of the Velocity fibre network.
No.8 WiMax offers businesses high speed, reliable Internet access. It provides fast upload and download speeds and lets your business benefit from access to the Velocity fibre network without an actual fibre connection.
Which plan is right for me?
Starter - Great for businesses who need fast access to email, web browsing and simple online business applications such as internet banking.
Power - Super fast and reliable access to your customers and business partners. Great for businesses that do most of their communication online. Get fast access to your corporate intranet, offsite backups and business applications.

What's involved with installation?
The No.8 WiMax service is delivered from a wireless base station (like a cell phone tower only much smaller) and transmits to and from a small receiver that we mount on the roof of your building.
The normal install fee is $1,100 + GST
Currently reduced to $320 + GST!
